Coming into my senior year at Pfeiffer University, I hadn't had the success I wanted in my career, getting spare play time and never hitting my full potential. I felt I had the talent to succeed, but the hitting coaches did not get the most out of me in my first 3 years.
That's when I decided to start working with Burns in the summer before my senior year. He sat me down and showed me videos of my swing and showed how we could work to create more power and energy more efficiently, and how to improve my lower half more in my swing.
After a couple months of working with him, I headed back to Pfeiffer my senior season with confidence that I never had before, and had the season of my life.
A lot of the work and swing changes Burns worked with me on dictated my success, and I wouldn't have finished on such a high note without his help and hard work.
