Effective October 11, 2026
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and On The Barrel LLC, doing business as On The Barrel ("OTB"), for using onthebarrel.co, The OTB App and app.onthebarrel.co (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Services.
Who can use OTB
- Under 13: only through an account set up with a parent or guardian, who manages it.
- Ages 13 to 17: with a parent or guardian’s permission. The parent agrees to these terms for the athlete and is responsible for the athlete’s use.
- Coaches, organizations and college coaches must give accurate information, and OTB approves these accounts before they can see any athlete information.
Your account
Keep your login private and tell us at onthebarreltx@gmail.com if you think someone else used it. Give accurate information, especially your date of birth, which decides age-based guidance like pitch counts. You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Not medical advice
OTB provides training and education, not medical care. The OTB Recovery score, arm status, pitch-count guidance, fuel goals and everything else in the Services are general information to support training decisions. They are not a diagnosis, treatment or substitute for a doctor, athletic trainer or physical therapist, and OTB is not a medical device.
- Talk to a doctor before starting a new training program, especially after an injury or with a medical condition.
- Stop and get medical help for pain, especially sharp pain in the shoulder or elbow. The app’s advice to rest is never a reason to delay care.
- Fuel goals are estimates. Athletes with medical or dietary needs should follow their doctor or registered dietitian.
Pitch counts and workload
Pitch-count limits and rest days in the app follow MLB and USA Baseball’s Pitch Smart guidelines for baseball pitchers 22 and under. They depend on the age and the throws you log being accurate. Your league, team and coaches may set stricter rules, and those come first. Workload trends are a guide, not a guarantee against injury.
Training involves risk
Baseball, softball, strength training, sprinting and throwing carry a risk of injury. You choose how and when to train, and you agree to train within your ability, use proper equipment and supervision, and follow your coaches’ instructions. To the extent the law allows, you accept these risks when you use workouts, drills and guidance from the Services. Training at an OTB facility may also require a separate waiver.
Using the Services the right way
You agree not to:
- use another person’s account, or create an account for someone without their (or their parent’s) permission;
- harass, threaten or share inappropriate content with athletes, especially minors;
- try to access information you aren’t permitted to see, or get around the app’s privacy controls;
- copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the Services or OTB’s programs, drills and content;
- upload anything illegal, infringing or harmful, including malware;
- misuse an athlete’s data, including contacting athletes outside the platform’s rules if you are a coach or college coach.
Your content and ours
You own what you put in the Services, such as journal entries, food logs and videos. You give OTB permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the Services to you and the people you share it with. OTB owns the Services and its programs, drills, the OTB Standard, recipes, text, graphics and logos; you may use them for your own training, not to copy or sell.
Devices and outside services
Apple Health, WHOOP, Oura, Momence, Open Food Facts and other outside services are run by other companies under their own terms. OTB isn’t responsible for them, for their data being accurate or available, or for changes they make. You can disconnect them at any time. OTB is not affiliated with or endorsed by WHOOP, Oura or Apple.
Bookings, plans and payments
Sessions at OTB are booked and paid through Momence under its terms and OTB’s posted prices and cancellation policy. The OTB App is free today. If OTB offers paid plans in the app, prices and terms will be shown before you buy, subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play follow their billing and refund rules, and you can cancel any time. Features that use your wearable data are always free.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, OTB makes no warranties, express or implied, including that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular athletic result, scholarship or roster spot. WHOOP, Oura and Apple make no warranties to you about the Services and are not liable for them.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, OTB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities or profits. OTB’s total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid OTB for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Disputes
If you have a problem, email onthebarreltx@gmail.com first; most issues are solved quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute that isn’t resolved informally will be decided in the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas, and you and OTB agree to those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the updated terms.
